The Foggy PointWatercolor. 24’’ x 36’’Inspiration: Carl the Fog, Grand View Park, Sutro TowerIdea: It was after the break up. I felt like on the island, waiting for the new person, like a boat to come and take me through the water. There are many boats, and many people. And life, covered with the fog like the streets of San Francisco.Destiny: My most favorite piece. Hangs on the wall of be Art studio. Not for sale. Prints and postcards available by order.

the Fear & the DreamWatercolor. 18’’ x 24’’. Inspiration: sleeping in nature, getting out of the comfort zone, buying a first carIdea: Some dreams are so big, that even scary. They look just like a huge bird with sharp claws. Who said the bird will hurt or dream is not worth pursuing? There is a choice to face the challenge and maybe find something great at the end, or leave the dream behind and never know what would it bring. Symbols:White birds interpret unfulfilled dreams and ideas - like a blink spots on the painting. Bridge - the possibility of going back. The Key - award for facing fears and challenges. Big Bird - great and scary dream. Outside of the city location represents leaving the comfort zone. Sutro Tower far away - life partner doesn`t participate in making decision, because it`s a personal choice. Destiny: Created in nostalgia for the watercolor technique, I used in art school times. Hangs on the wall of be Art studio. Not for sale. Prints and postcards available by order.
the Artist & the ArchitectWatercolor.Inspiration: San Francisco. Work. Creative power.Idea: Having inside artist and architect can feel conflicting. One tram story WatercolorInspiration: my dear Foggy Kingdom (San Francisco)Idea: there is happiness in every moment, every possible situation, if you only wish to feel itDestiny: original was sold to the best new owner I could ever imagine. She`s the biologist from Berkeley, CA. She deeply loves San Francisco trams and dreams to see them more often, than on rear windows between science conferences. Now she has a capture of her happiness to “shine” from the wall of her house, as she said.Sold. Prints and postcards available by order.
the Art & ArchitectureWatercolorInspiration: unemployment, street postIdea: other side of the “the Artist & the Architect” painting, showing the conflicting situation. It was in between jobs, time for the hardest choice of getting another architectural job or skipping to art.Symbols: pen in rising hand - creating, dreaming. Street post and wires - life path and choice needed to be made. Toolbox - architectural practice, job, stability, career, support. Birds represent other characters in life: on a post - watching the situation, flying - people who may come, depends of the decision. Destiny: Hangs in studio. Not for sale.
