~ MY FOGGY KINGDOM ~

Series include watercolor paintings and love poems to San Francisco. Based on real places and life events, each art piece is encrypted diary. It tells about entering the adulthood, new country and new life in the moody city of Fog and Freedom.

Artworks feature “egg like” composition with main character at the middle and city warping around, to strengthen the idea of Big World feeling small and intimate.

BE ART

Be Art was formed by four close friends in 2017 and quickly grew into over 200 happy members. It is local artist community, hosting weekly live drawing, art workshops and feedback sessions. In addition Be Art studio hosted “Be Art Salon” - the productivity and life planning club; and “Creative Hours” artists coworking.

Be Art hosted personal exhibitions and participated in SF Open Studios group show.

Be-artists focus on active creating, involve into social activities, skill share, art commitments and collaborations.

Anastasia Podvysotska fullfilled the roles of co-founder, art couch, events and exhibitions curator, and financial management.

Other co-founders include SF local artists Adelya Tumasyeva, Elena Zlokazova and Kseniya Ha.

Be Art Community stopped hosting events in 2020 due to Covid pandemic.

ILLUSTRATION

Pen and brush is my favorite combination. Writing and illustrating my own story was the beginning of the artists path, survived to the middle of it and will flourish in the future.

Four different stories are currently on the line to be illustrated.
